New Mums

Dear New Mom,

Saying "Congratulations" seems so inadequate.  How can we acknowledge the sacred journey you have just completed - until one has traveled that journey - you can never know the heights and the depths of it.   We would like to celebrate with you - the completion of YOUR birth journey and also to Welcome you to First Time Parent - and to celebrate with you the start of this next incredible phase of your life.

It is such an honour to walk with you as you become the loving Parent you want to be.

We understand your nervousness, exhaustion, excitement and wonder as you gaze at YOUR baby.   We have put together all the resources you're looking for so that you can quickly learn to understand your baby's cries, to understand your baby's needs.   Our online new parent videos will show you safe parenting skills for newborn care:  from newborn massage, understanding your baby's feeding needs, what you can do to prevent SIDS, going out with your newborn baby ... and much more.   (Watch "Newborn Parenting for a New World: A Practical Guide for Mom and Dad").  You'll quickly become confident with breastfeeding your newborn and Rebecca Glover's famous breastfeeding video: "Follow Me Mum"   will guide you through any breastfeeding "teething" problems (ouch! that hurt ... thank Goodness they don't have any teeth to start with!)

Sign up now and receive our report:  "Avoid the 5 Biggest New Parent Mistakes" - when you read them, you'll realise how easy it is to make them and they really are worth avoiding.   We want you and your family to get off to the best start possible - and with years and years of experience with first time Moms and their babies - we know the kinds of things you'll want to know.   Simple things like "Why join a New Mothers' Group" - you'll find all these resources right here at First Time Parent.tv.   If you have a Partner - we also have resources to support and help you develop your relationship.   Having your Partner working with you (not against you) - will make this a rewarding time of your life - for you AND your baby - so get him involved in a positive way - right from the start.   Also, let him know about our DADS FORUM where he can feel free to discuss things from a Dads perspective.

The First-Time-Parent team (Midwives/Lactation Consultants/Psychologist, Specialist Nurse in Newborn Care etc) would really appreciate your feedback - so let us know if there is any information that you would like - that you have not been able to find on First Time Parent.tv

Remember to make time to look after yourself as well ... caring for your newborn is very demanding.

Sign up now ( top right hand corner NEWBORN) - so that you receive the extra support that is available only to our Special Members.

Tip NO 1:   Always make your bed as soon as you get out of it ..... that way you know you'll have done at least one thing that day!

Take care and Enjoy
